No, but it's the right and fair move. And hell, if it brings a balanced budget, it just might help.

I think plenty of people on this thread also hold the same view. Or at least in the context of ABB and holding Bush accountable for record deficits.

They'll just use the time of purging as an opportunity to make America more like Europe.

I saw one of those Smart cars on the road last week, the first one I ever saw in America. They were all over the place in France, Germany, and Italy when I visited there last year.
