Thanks for the article on Vitamin D. I've been reluctant to start taking it...but the article seems to make a solid case for toxicity problems being misunderstood or over stated.

I assume kidney stones are not really a problem either? Thats the only other thing that bothered me...but I sure would like the said benefits of vitamin D. Wisconsin isn't exactly the sunlight capital of the world.

I actually got a tanning machine, one that has a very good ratio of UVB / UVA - instead of taking D3 supplements. If you are interested, I will send you a link to the product).

My Vitamin D (25OH) is 73 ng/mL, which (like Dr. Davis) makes me question the 80 ng/mL level of "toxicity".

With my level being way up, I don't take any D3 supplement (besides 400 IU of D3 that is in my multivitamin).
