Mcnamee was once a cop and also the son of a cop, if you think like a cop or a criminal you would save those syringes too. Mcnamee had involvement with and possesion of steroids thus was doing something illegal, Clemens knew it, so Clemens had leverage over him just by knowing. Saving the syringes is an attempted hedge to that leverage

You only bulk up if you train to bulk up, otherwise you heal quicker, get stronger, become mentally stronger, etc. Every athlete above their mid 20's would benefit without having to bulk up, they all play with aches and pains, taking something for that gives a distinct adavantage. By the way, it's all lies about them taking it a couple times. HGH won't benefit you unless you take it daily for at least a couple months, even high school kids who juice know that. Completely healing from a serious injury (bone break) takes 6 months or more for ligament injuries, do the math, only an idiot would take HGH twice, but it sounds good on TV.

Excuse me for jumping in here, but I don't think I've heard anyone suggest that the syringe and the gauze have been both shown to be connected to Clemens. Surely the gauze is easy to prove, the substance in the syringe can be analyzed, but how does the syringe get connected unless Clemens blood or other source of DNA is on it.
