Looks like Howard Dean is lobbying for Florida and Michigan to hold their primaries again saying that the party would recognize their delegates from the primaries if they do so.

Wonder what his motives are. Would Clinton have the money to campaign in Florida and Michigan. At least Obama would have some leftover.

Well, my old dad lives in Texas and he's currently a registered Republican. His favorite, Romney, just dropped out of the race. Tonight he just confirmed again that he is going to vote for Obama in the Primary and is considering voting for Obama in the election. He told me that the more he finds out about Obama, the more he likes him. Sound familiar?

Now, of course, he has me calling him from across the country to talk to him about politics all the time, but this guy is as conservative as they come. For him to vote Democrat for Obama and consider voting for him in the election as well is just a miracle. I can only hope that my dad and I aren't isolated in our views.

So here's my personal circle of influence. My wife and I and my dad, all registered Republicans, are voting for Obama. My mom is voting for McCain. My brother, the Partner at a law firm, has taken the 5th and refused to commit. His wife is also undecided. Not bad for a conservative as hell Republican family.
