you: As time goes by, it looks like our old predictions come true, that there are no real new technologies, which could scale and which show equal/better or near equal DIE sizes. me: Yeah, like everyone else I'm dying to hear more about how the Numonyx PCM is received. So far the timing of the releases seem more about promoting Numonyx than anything else. To me it looks like INTC/STM are still having problems getting Numonyx off the ground. The last I heard the deal was supposed to complete in March, but who knows? In any case PCM seems to be aways off, if ever, and SPSN isn't sitting still. Given that INTC/STM seem to be devoting all their resources to PCM and that there will be, at a minimum, a significant time lag before competitive products evolve, SPSN should have a good quarter/year. Of course this assumes worldwide macro conditions don't go to hell.
