Vi, I started my position in physical gold in 2000. The last time I bought any was 2002. Since then I have been in and out of gold CEFs or ETFs to subsidize and time gold prices. I now use DGL & DBS to augment my positions. I have always been early in my buying and selling. I have yet to sell any bullion. However I am not sure of the scenario currently unfolding.

Do you really see a depression coming? If so, any kind of time frame? Will banks really fail this time around? Won't IMF gold sales tend to take $s off the street and thus tamper inflation?
Do we get deflation in most assets except those that consumers need like food, gas, etc? I believe all this is possible, but can't put it together in a reasonable scenario. Could you help out please?--------Peaceb2u
