What happened to the Goldendoodle.... I did some online reading. Concluded they are the latest fad dog, some call them "designer dogs." They aren't a recognized breed and in reality are really mutts. I just can't justify paying $1,000 (low end price) for one of these. Also, and more important, I was under the impression there was "hybrid vitality" because the two breeds were mixed. That is not the case, and there is the possibility that the offspring could inherit bad characteristics from both parent breeds. Oh... and the missus was more interested in a Standard Poodle in the first place.
