Well, yes that would pretty much be right. That's why health insurance rates have been rising so fast. It's because we are sicker as a nation than other countries and because we have such an inefficient way of financing health care. It's why carriers are seeking younger members. But if younger people in the workforce aren't finding jobs that offer health insurance or they can't afford coverage, the carriers are screwed...hoisted on their own petard, as it were.
