I didn't say the EC accepted Intel's story. I think the EC is looking for any excuse to declare Intel's 80% market dominance illegal. To them the high number is the problem. They just want to find any excuse to help their incompetent AMD get more share.

Just heard about the raids on CNBC. My take is that EU is looking for a connection between DELL's recent AMD reductions and any price breaks they might have "coincidentally" gotten.

Might explain the recent backpedaling by DELL in the last few days.
