What question was that?

The one you "reformulated" rather than answering.

I phrased it in two different ways -

"Taken in isolation from spending issues, where the tax cuts a good, bad, or neutral thing, in your opinion?"

"Was the net result of the tax cuts, good, bad, or neutral, in your opinion?"

You always answer that you like the tax cuts but dislike the deficits. You also mention spending increases. This combination

1 - Doesn't make it clear how much you think the tax cuts contributed to the deficits.

2 - Doesn't make it clear how harmful you think this contribution was.

and

3 - Doesn't make it clear if you think the benefit from the tax cuts exceeded the harm from their contribution towards deficits.

You've implied and answer to 3, that the benefit did not exceed the harm, but every time I respond to the implication, you respond with something along the lines of "I didn't say that". So instead of implying anything, or an evasive answer, or talking about some one else's opinion, can I just get a yes or no in your opinion?
