Lane -

I think the latter judgement depends upon what McCain is actually talking about when he says what he says.

I think most people believe that he's talking about being in Iraq fighting insurgents for the next 100 years. Clearly, that isn't going to fly with the American people. And I'm afraid that is exactly what he means.
