What the hell is a boutique doctor??? And there is always an opportunity to time the visit, don't you wear a stop watch? Can't you remember the exact time the doc showed his face? Now that you have a new doctor time him or her.....oops, I'm sure the visit will be shorter because you're on Medicare....
Let me tell you something.....I have spent the last two days in an ER and doctors offices......I've had at least a half dozen tests with more to come. I was sick the last 9 days and complained of chest pains and stomach pains.......bam!! chest pains!! get your ass to the ER... I knew what it was cause I've had it before, but I also knew where they were coming from.... The point being, you won't be short changed because you're on Medicare. I have recovered and am feeling well again. And btw, I pay $10 copay for an office visit, nothing for lab tests, and $25 for a specialist.
