Sorry, the fine tuning of the universe is well attested by leading physicists: There is a sample size of one universe. You can't say squat about that. With planets, we are going to find thousands of them, and it will become pretty clear that only a few of them are suitable for life, in which case it will look rather statistically likely that ours was not made for us, but we happened to evolve here because it was possible. The same is true of our evolving in the universe. If we only knew of one planet, the Earth, people could also claim the earth was uniquely designed for us. I suspect the same might be true for universes. You might note that the multiple universe theory, which originally was not well received, is much better accepted now. That counters the fine tuning argument. There is no fine tuning in the multiple universe theory. However, it is all rather speculative compared to climate science. It really does not bother me at all if our universe is fine tuned for us, but if it is I suspect it is fine tuned for lots of other life, much of which seems hostile to us. So far, we can think it is nicely tuned for us because we happen to be king of the hill on earth. If eventually some other alien life in the universe uses us like we use much of the other life on earth, I suspect fondness for the fine-tuned universe theory will take a significant hit, at least with humans. The aliens might like the theory though.
