Bob,

A question.

I have no trouble accessing SI from my home computer. However, I can not access this site from my office computer even though I have 'allowed' all the recommended SI cookies. I have no problems accessing everything else on the net from my office computer.

Why does SI hate my office computer? Any suggestions?

Bob, Rose wants to know if SI and IH practice safe sex?

Oops, she means practice web safe colors.

IH Admin [Shelly] could initiate a search for a default background color
to replace that too bright white Matt mentioned needs replacement.
The following post suggests that members could submit colors on Matt's
Q & A board for what they like as a background color, then a survey
taken to vote on them and Matt can then select one as the one.

"...use titanium alloys for [SI Bob's dream] brake rotors"

Titanium is the fourth most common structural metal around. There's more of it in the Earth's crust than all the nickel, copper, chromium, lead, tin, and zinc combined. However, the current multistep, high-temperature batch process method for refining the ore into metal is extremely expensive.

There's a push to change that. The new nonmelt processing technique [could] cut costs by up to 50 percent, making it feasible to use titanium alloys for brake rotors...

Bob, Rose is getting frustrated on IH, being given the cold-shoulder.

I fully understand Matt's stand not to entertain any positive feed-back towards Rose (alias pcnews) and I (alias gotmilk) knowing many of his most important and regarded friends at IH have sent him many signals to banish Rose and I from IH based on their extreme personal dislike of us.

That I have no problem with, as "life in the big city" is not fair, so accept it and don't let it hinder your forward motion.

My frustration is not towards Matt since I know his heart is good, but youth does cause mistakes to become know later in life, but my "grief" is having to make these types of whine posts that simply interrupt others like you that have no valuable time to waste on nonsence like this.

The following post to Matt from Rose has no replies.

I'll copy/paste it here.
Matt, I'm confused...
1. Why you are unwilling to reply
to siliconinvestor.com
2. Why Mr. Zumbrunnen never did "I'll let you know when/if I do this and how it goes."

"... You might consider a Happy Hour on IHub..."
3. Why SI Admin (Dave) removed those posts of Douglas (alias d:oug) on SI's "Welcome to Silicon Investor!" board that delved into the possibility that the worth to the owners of IH for the implementation of the "Happy Hour" suggestion to Mr. Zumbrunnen added enough to the coffers to warrent a "thank you" executed as adding "Premium-Plus" to his "Paid Lifetime" membership.
