Mc"Cain" wants to slay his brother. Golden Rule and all that.

He's running on the "Eye for an Eye" campaign agenda.

btw, I'm voting for Bloomberg. His campaign will be:

I may be a Jew, I may be gay, and I may be a midget, but I am not black, I'm not 80, and I am not a woman!

I forget my point, but I would vote for someone with that campaign. As things stand, I might be for Obama given the choices.

Also, how much money does a person need to retire?

mike, how bad is this:

"...Turmoil continued in the auction rate securities markets Friday, with failed sales outpacing successful ones.

Investment banks failed to sell a total of 231 auction rate securities, out of a total of 288 on offer, according to sale results provided by a person close to the process.
Merrill Lynch & Co. (MER) was the lead arranger on 93 of the failed transactions, followed by Smith Barney, a unit of Citigroup Inc. (C), with 55 failed deals, according to a list of the transactions.

On the flip side, Smith Barney led 15 of the 57 successful transactions, followed by UBS (UBS) with nine and Merrill with seven, according to the list.

Typically these auctions are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, but due to the recent market turmoil as well as the upcoming long holiday weekend in the U.S., the banks opted to hold an extra auction on Friday..."

thank you

I have more of a problem with the flip flop of his position than the position itself.

The next time we have information about a near term terrorist attack and we have a few guys in custody that can give us more information, I'll go there and torture them myself. I don't see how sacrificing a few thousand people and few hundred billion dollars of infrastructure over waterboarding is worth it when these idiots set their prisoners on fire or behead them. It's not like taking the high road is going to impact them positively.

There's a line between abuse and common sense and I don't think you should tie the hands of government on defense matters until they cross it.
