most likely they are living better from nanny state than they would earn working. or just do not want to work. I expect most are very comfortable in their situation and complain to get more free items if possible.. heaven forbid work for it. g

If people in flood zones want assistance after flooding they should be willing to relocate, but if they’re not willing to move they should use their own money.

"after 3 years people are still living in trailers"

Some of my friends spent longer than that living in trailers. they didn't get them provided by the government either.

Perfectly said! I can't even believe that THREE + YEARS after Katrina there are still people in trailers....living off the government for free! And like Peter said, there are many people that live in mobil homes, and formaldehyde doesn't form....Does anyone know if EVERY single one down in NO is giving off these gases? Why don't others in other areas of the country do the same thing?

WHY haven't these people taken the money they got from the Government after Katrina, and moved on? How many of them are working? Or have ever worked?

It is beyond disgusting!
