man oh man, 1,000 a square foot for the most unbelievable crapholes, I didn't understnad how bad it got in California, but by the post that Lizzie had from that real estate blog, that put everything in perspective.

we have that in san jose, literally 1/2 mile from the areas that are going up. Well not quite that bad, I guess your example is probably selling at 2002 levels if it 30% down from 2004 levels. But we have a lot of things asking 2004 levels here.

Heres one down from 760 to 600, didn't take anything to find it - just get any listing east of Almaden in SJ.

but for some reason the desirable areas are still going up. Very strange I know.
