By keeping the minimum wage unnaturally low, you are encouraging illegals to move to the US.

How so?

If the wage is higher, you drive the work off the books, and illegals are more likely to take off the books jobs.

If "no American will work for that little", but illegals are here, then people will be likely to pay the illegals, whatever the minimum wage is.

What in the world is a natural minimum wage? There are market driven (natural) wages, and there are government mandated (unnatural) minimum wages, but what is a natural minimum wage?
