It's also very important for coverage of children.....you know of any children that have never needed medical care? I saw a doctor twice when I was growing up. We got shots at school. Are you or any of your family receiving SS and Medicare? Are any refusing it? I put some effort into finding a way to refuse Medicare but there was just no practical way to do it and I gave up.

Are you or any of your family receiving SS and Medicare? I'm not. I can't think of any close relatives who are, although I guess my parents will receive it in a few years. Are any refusing it? If the government is going to grab more and more money from you, why refuse to accept some of it back. But I'll tell you what. Even though I've paid SS and Medicare taxes for years, make me immune to paying those taxes (and to any possible replacement tax), and I'll agree not to receive any benefits from the programs.
