Thanks. At one time I was seriously considering McCain as a good choice for November, because of his fiscal conservatism, and the supposed benefits of split government. But his insistence that we "win" in Iraq, combined with his now strident support of the Bush tax cuts simply do not compute as fiscal conservatism. The pork barrel projects that he pledges to fight (and I believe he will) are trivial compared to those two huge items.

I am now afraid McCain will end up being another Reagan in terms of fiscal discipline, if he is elected.
