A long shot for Obama's running mate.. Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska. Note that he was travelling with Kerry and Biden in Afghanistan.. Maybe thinking of switching parties since he is so disgusted with the war..Has voted with Dems on war issues in last year or two.

Unbeatable combination imo..

Bob Graham always struck me as among the worst campaigners in the book. Sentences just seemed to want to stay in his mouth, as he thought about the next word, then thought a moment, and then thought the next word out.

Getting Bob Kerrey as the vp is pretty wild. One of the great uncontrolled free thinkers.

Tony Zinni, now that's an interesting idea. Hadn't thought of it. Boy, does that take care of the national security argument. Surely, even if he doesn't name Zinni as a vp candidate, he puts his name on every cabinet list he can. During the campaign.
