I don't think that matters.. Obama and Hagel would balance out great on domestic issues...

The war is still the elephant in the room for the Dems that will likely vote, as evidenced by Clinton's demise as a candidate. If she would have came out strongly against Bush's Iraq policies and admitted her mistake on the initial war vote she would have the nomination wrapped up by now.. She lost the nomination because of her stand on the war. It wasn't a woman thing or even a Clinton thing,it was a policy thing..

In addition she is viewed by too many as too hawkish which boils down to war. Nearly 70% of the people now do not approve of the war now.. They are just war weary.. Remember this is probably the longest war this country has ever engaged in..
