But record highs are happening too... if you're a scientist or a statistician (which you clearly aren't), you'd ask if there are more record highs than there are record lows over a long period of time. If I predict that a third baseman is going to have a great offensive season, and he bats .320 for the season but has a couple of games where he goes 0-4, do you laugh me out of the room after he has a bad game? -Z
