Aw, Bill. I dunno what all that means...... a lot of times I hear RW complaints that LW are ivory-towered PhDs, while your stat says that higher education leads to Rep votes. "Dumb America"-- without trying to politicize this term, what does it mean? I completely respect the "salt of the earth" types, while at the same time admitting they don't really have a lot of understanding of political complexities. They have a concept of America that just doesn't include a lot of nuance. Muslim bad, Jesus good. Am I being nasty with that? I don't think so. Part of the beauty and also part of the problem is that black -white POV.
