The general trend is that the uneducated and undereducated lean towards the Dems, and those with very extensive formal educations lean towards the Dems, those in between tend to lean Republican.

That little exchange with X on the elitist lefty thread was quite amusing. I don't think it serves anyone to look down your noses at large portions of the population and ridicule their looks, religious beliefs, jobs or lifestyle. Especially on a closed thread.

I'd much rather rub elbows with the folks that libs over at the View from the far left lump into "dumb America" over any of the faux elitists on that thread, that's for sure.

Those so-called "dumb Americans" have far more nuance in all their views than the leftists who look down thier noses at them with a "black-white POV" that they have on oh so many issues.

Those "dumb Americans" are far less hypocritical as the elitists.

Those "dumb Americans" have far more mainstream values as those elitists.

Those "dumb Americans" don't blame America first for every problem, real or imagined like those elitists.

Those "dumb Americans" believe in personal responsibility far more than the society of "victims" elites embrace.

Those "dumb Americans" have a far better understanding of the difference between right & wrong than those elitists.

I'd go on & on, but I'm sure you get the picture.

<< ""Dumb America".... what does it mean? .... admitting they don't really have a lot of understanding of political complexities. They have a concept of America that just doesn't include a lot of nuance. Muslim bad, Jesus good.

Am I being nasty with that? I don't think so. Part of the beauty and also part of the problem is that black -white POV."
