Funny thing is I think Richardson would just be a good VP, actually good at the job, without even thinking about balancing demographic or politics or whatever. Given our problems he's probably one of the most competent guys around.

And wouldn't it be refreshing to see the decision made on competence instead of politics or ideology? Isn't that what Obama's campaign is all about?
