mindmeld, Why does working with another party require that you break with you own? This is the problem with your way of thinking. There is such a thing as a win-win. Sometimes it requires compromise, but often you can find a way for 1 + 1 to equal 3. It requires open thought and looking for the root motivations of all the parties to the negotiation. I don't know if you consider this as pissing in your Kool-Aid, but Obama sold you a bill of goods. One can either be a partisan hack or a person who can work with people across the isle, and cross the isle. So far the collective wisdom of this thread has not found one shred of evidence that Obama is anything other than a partisan hack. Now, there is nothing wrong with a person being party loyalist. It is wrong only if you try to mislead people that you are something else. Joe
