Which is why I think partition may not be such a bad idea. It could have avoided Kosovo war, and the current oppression of Serb minority in Kosovo.

Yugoslavia lived only as long as Tito lived. Iraq could have died with death of Saddam. The problem is that the State department of the US has a knee jerk reaction against partitions.

He was signifying his commitment to the cause, not suggesting it really would take 100 years.
