thats what I thought - which means there is an EXTREMELY LIMITED amount of potential buyers for a home like that.

If you don't need to work anymore you might even make a decision to dump the whole entertaining thing (for parties over 60 ppl) and dump the stress of having to maintain a 10K sq ft property (assuming you don't care about cost).

I am amused at how these way out there white elephants are marketed. Its AS IF an executive would buy somewhere in the boondocks.

I read that last year home prices in Utah went up something like 22%, which surprised me, although the NY Times ran an article on the state a couple days back that basically said the slowdown has now spread there. St. George has had quite a few boom years, prime area if you want dry warm weather, and at least until recently the prices were pretty reasonable.

Not tucked in the mountains. Not next to the water. Not near a cultural center. It's going to take a special someone to buy that place. I could see turning it into a very fancy B&B.
