mc; I read this, this morning and thought of you. Struck me as being right on.

Technical analysis (TA) is a GREAT tool for emotion busting... if you let your emotions run the show, you will never survive. TA allows you to leave your emotions at home, and play the game disciplined.

Yeah, sentiment here is extreme. Didn't we get a huge run up last week in equity put/call?

I favour a new low in tech and not one in non-tech.

Still, I don't care one little bit about predicting the future. All I need to do is be ready for either eventuality -- to know I have a trigger for entry and a target for exit. In other words, to recognize when the odds tip the balance clearly in one direction of the other and then to act. This is not always possible; only when we are at such nice inflection points.
