The supply demand equation is solvable. No need to print crude oil futures with increases of 500% when there is info on pump prices that show the price has gone up less than 100% after inflation. That is if you want to panic the ignorant and stupid, then go ahead with the chicken little stories, but don't be surprised when they won't listen to your more reasonable argument after they learn the truth. That will be be backlash of this exaggeration, it will make matters only worse. It is also why you can't get through to about half the populace. They remember the bull shit from the 70's.

So nuff of that. Where is that ignore button?

Nice chart.

The dramatic looking line is the nominal price, but the important line is the one that says "adjusted for inflation".
