I just received a very nice PR from them by email (which I haven't been able to find elsewhere online -- so no link I'm afraid). After major drilling problems for the last year or two, they've FINALLY come up with some really decent drill results for their Santo Domingo silver play in Mexico. The company's "blue sky" goal for this project is 300M ounces Ag, and they could just get there if this keeps up. It could be a $3 or $4 stock if this happens IMHO. A potential 20-bagger? But do your own DD!!! :^) Like *all* of the Mexico plays, when I spoke to the Stroud people at the PDAC, they were really frustrated by the backlog of assay results. How do you do effective exploration when you have to wait several months for assay results? Another small silver company told me that they have actually gone into production with a new zone, but they can't announce this because they don't yet have back the assays from drilling of 3 or 4 months ago! They have their own (unofficial) assaying facilities, so they know what they've got and can proceed to production based on this, but they can't issue a PR! Ridiculous. <<Had a good trip despite the huge crowd and subterranean layout which diminished some of the past joy of being among a certain core of people you are familiar with and more easily accomplished renewal of friendships.>> Agreed. I really didn't like the setup using the South Building at the Convention Centre. Couldn't find anyone... didn't bump into friends... got sore feet... too far to walk for free booze at the Royal York, etc., etc.! What a disaster. And if a fire had broken out, the one escalator would have ensured a real massacre and a real public relations disaster. I can see the headlines now... "The cream of the crop of the world's mining industry died in a fire at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre today. The only person of any note left alive was newsletter-writer Paul Van Eeden, who had sussed out an escape route several months ago. Interviewed after the fire, he said: "My algorithm told me that this precious metals stuff would lead to a meltdown".<<A pleasure to see you again>> Igualmente amigo. Get someone to rub something soothing on that sciatic nerve of yours! <g> Best regards, Howy
