flopper, You are engaging in McCarthyism - guilt by association type charges. You imply that if Obama knew or was acquainted with someone you disagree with that he shares those views. I am old enough to remember Joe McCarthy. We must reject these "old style" politics.

Obama has Rezko, McCain has Keating and Clinton has the Chinese guy (among others).

Unless you are independently wealthy it's real tough to run for office in this country without taking money from 'somebody' that might have a tainted past.

I guess you could tell every donor that you'll be doing an FBI background check on them but that would PROBABLY hurt your fundraising to a large extent.
