I'm so glad you picked that post. It's not about the commenting. on a post on this thread, that bothers me- it's the personal stuff. Did I post who wrote the post? Am I making up funny disrespectful names for that person? Am I ridiculing him personally? No. Nor do I want to. He seems like a decent guy. It's just a funny thing to say. I'm glad you have this open thread so I can share this with you. It makes a difference, at least to me, whether a poster is clearly personal, or simply talking about ideas. I'm sorry you (and others) have never gotten that. It's made for a very sad lack of communication between us. Should you all quit being personal about me, if that ever happens, I look forward to long interesting discussions, where we meaningfully share our very different points of view.
