I'm still reluctant to fight anything related to energy, but it appears the global transportation sector is indeed getting into trouble. So it wouldn't be fighting the trend to short them any more. Which ones, if any, are you shorting here? `BC

I know the airline industry is a favorite of yours <G>, so I thought I'd get your take on this one. Are you familiar with AIR? finance.yahoo.com They're not terribly debt-laden, but I like the fact that their stock has a price history that includes a trip down near $3 in the last recession, and they appear to be strongly correlated to the overall U.S. economy, given the big stock declines in 1990 and 2000-2: finance.yahoo.com And yes, I found them on the 52-week lows list. EDIT: My order was filled, so I've got a starter short. `BC
