not clear, <<When the chase plane is an F-22, the SU-30 pilot won't know anything is out there until he sees the missile coming at him. And neither will the pilot of the next SU-30>> as stealth can be countered geocities.com

"A similar situation could be implemented using two aircraft. One acting as bait, and a second aircraft some distance away, equipped with stealth countermeasure radar. This would be especially effective if the second aircraft could use a digital radio link to direct the flight path of a missile launched from the "bait" aircraft"

... besides, just how far away is a stealth variant of SU-30?

LATAM not serious: Crisis Over Colombian Raid Ends in Handshakes. The leaders of four Latin American nations embroiled in a diplomatic crisis over a Colombian military raid in Ecuador ended the dispute on Friday with handshakes and warm embraces at a summit meeting...

Even a conflict we cannot get going! In othe rplaces we would have air space invaded, thousands in the streets... But not in LATAM

What was supposed to be the birth of a weapons race was cut in the bud!

CASE:
Venezuela with US planes grounded without spares, bough Russia stuff. Seeking a market for weapons, the US prompts Colombia to finish off some FARC guerrillas across the border.

The outcome expected was to Ecuador, Colombia and then the rest starting put ting orders for weapons.

But Brazil has very skilled diplomats that goes there and tell: this is wayo. Do not fall into this game. Only GCC countries do that sort of silly things...
LESSONS:

Nr. 01 Send a message to the US they even chose the right country to shake hands: Nicaragua. Why? you may be asking. Well we remember how the Iran-Contras affair went, weapons for hostages, Oliver North…

Nr. 02 At a time when Chavez must be contained, Cuba is in transition we to invest in gas in Bolivia, Ecuador etc, it is necessary to keep the things under control there.

Nr. 03 Message to the US (and to Snowshoe too) that policeman of the world not required

Nr. 04 message to Europeans and to Africans, we can defuse things nicely, quietly and cleanly.

4% drop. US$ 7,1 billion 2007 vs US$ 7,4 billions em 2006.

Money remitted from Brazilians abroad slows down.

Brazilians are returning.

Remittances to LATAM increase 7% in 2007.
