In 2000, Bush promised to bring down oil prices by using his "energy expertise" to "jawbone OPEC". Instead the real plan was to quadruple oil prices, pollute the environment as much as possible, invade Iraq for its oil but use terrorism as an excuse (why Bush ignored the pre 9-11 warnings?) and to install Halliburton, Exxon and others like them as the new masters of the nation.

Bush uses rare veto to defend torture. What an A-hole. Someone ought to torture the truth out of Bush-cheney. They have been lying and costing us trillions since day one. This also probes that Bush-Cheney actually approved of Abu Graib torture. It was part of their policy. And that policy got a lot of US soldiers killed and created thousands of new terrorists.
