It is all relative to location. You cannot buy a condo in my area for $100k wages differ in areas. You probably can't buy anything with only 300 Sq feet either at least not yet. Efficient we are not so we are OIL producers dream come true.

US has an enormous amount of useable land.

Do you know the actual base price of your vehicle and how many additional dollars are silently added in tax in for social services?

Denmark seems to have the highest prices for cars all over Europe. Aint you allowed to drive a "grey" car registered in Germany? I remember that Denmark has a 105%/180% registration tax tacked onto the gross price of a vehicle. .

"There's only the 25% sales tax on (most) everything, but cars have an added tax of 105% for the first 15000$, 180% for the rest; plus/minus charges/rebates for gass-guzzlers/Prius'es, minus rebates for security equipment"
