Yes. The argument that Gore or Kerry would have SOMEHOW been WORSE than George W. Bush. All I can say is, ARE YOU SERIOUS? Do you have ANY grip on America's present reality?

We, the people, elected George W. Bush. Twice.

Did they really or did the people that bothered to vote, pick the lesser of two evils?

In a 2 horse race where they are both nags, one will be perceived to be "better" than the other but they are both nags in reality.<<

I picked the lesser of two evils in the last two elections.

I voted AGAINST W.

Twice.

I wasn't fond of Gore or Kerry, but anybody with an eye and an ear could see and hear that W was an idiot.

The three current runners represent at least some competence, although I don't see how any of them can get us out of the complete mess that W has created.

As to Wharf's suggestion that the Fed is the cause of all the problems, I'd have to say the multi-trillion dollar war is one very large piece of the problem, and the Fed is just compounding it.

Those who voted for Bush voted out of fear. BTW, what ever happened to those red alerts? Has the old skunk fixed those guys once and for all or will we see them in September or lose them to a summer love?
