Or we can do nothing and just wait for oil to get to $500 a barrel... that'll do the trick, eh? Just everybody keep on driving those single passenger SUVs. As Tim says it will make us wealthy beyond our dreams paying all that money for gas. Or we could exploit the resources we have while looking (and waiting) for other options/fuels - namely Hydrogen/fuel cells. Trying to limit miles driven solves none of the issues and hampers business and pleasure. The taxes on engine displacement disproportionately effect the elderly, poor or those on fixed incomes. PS: I've never seen a single passenger SUV. :-)
