If there are that many American job loses in the US, it will soon be more than a non issue. Congress has already made it an issue. As for alternative energy, why don't you listen to an engineer who knows more than you do about alternative energy, and all of the fallacies surrounding it. If the democrats would have let us drill in Anwar, or even in the lower 50 states anywhere, we wouldn’t be in this mess we’re in with lack of oil. It takes oil to run solar systems plus most parts of the country aren’t warm enough to generate enough energy to run a solar system effectively. The very same problems apply with windmills, not enough wind to make them effective.
