They measure things in different ways. It shows my point in my last post on this thread. A point you would probably agree with at least in broad terms. There are a lot of different possible data points to consider, different data points that seem very similar on the surface can still show trends in different directions. And the biggest point, none of this data is very solidly and reliably precise, even when you have the best people trying to get it, without any deliberate bias or large degree of non-deliberate bias to distort the results. The figures are presented as if they are all so precise, but even the specific data points are not precise, and also none of them would give a complete picture even if we could count on them being precisely correct.
