But there are people who say, in all seriousness, that America just isn't ready for a woman president. Or they will say quite openly that they would never vote for a woman for president, while they'd be a lot less likely to admit not wanting to vote for a black man.

Hillary gets crap for not wearing dresses, or for the cut of her pantsuits. Wasn't it Rush who said he couldn't stand the idea of watching a woman grow old in the White House?

It's no bed of roses for her, either, President husband or no.

I sure believe I have heard it said that had she not been married to Bill she would not be where she is. Now - in most places - that still means she has to be a woman.
