You can't compare Spitzer to Haggard. Spitzer's vice was private and hurt no one. Haggard was privately queer but also ripped off millions and helped elect far rightwing politicians who have looted this country and ruined our once great military. and it was all a lie. Spitzerr has done the opposite. he defends the peoples interests. So what if he isn't perfect personally? Spitzer's investigations against the enormous Bushie corporate criminality must go on. That is really what this is about, the Bush White House's collaboration with the sub-prime mortgage mess which is ten times as bad as they are admitting and is connected to Iraq, the weak dollar and the oil price hikes.
