I guess you are right. However, if the church was white, and you substituted "Europe" where the web site refers to "Africa", I think people would have probably concluded it was racist. I am not very familiar with churches, having given up on religion after a clash with my elementary school religious studies teacher over the logistics of Noah's Ark.

Personally, I can get behind the whole black pride thing, but I think Kyros is pointing out that we all have an individual mental line where it becomes a little nonsensical or slightly racist or something that's just 'too much'.

I think Patricia touched on this when she mentioned her son's experience in line to vote.

It hit me way back there when certain black leaders were in the news discussing whether or not Obama was 'black enough'. I watched this and thought 'Yuk....go away guys....your time has passed and I don't want to hear this.' It was visceral.
