You just about need to view it in a simplistic way. Remember who the vast majority of voters are. I watched to HS English teachers on TV last night that didn't know where the Danube is! The wife graduated suma cum from Pepperdine! That is mindnumbing.

I think Hillary and the Right may have a serious complaint about Obama this time. His former preacher is a crazy racist and it is hard to see how Obama could have stayed in that church. Of course, it is difficult for the Right to play this card, as they have already labelled him a Muslim. It's then kind of hard to say he has been overly influenced by a Church of Christ preacher. But Hillary can sure use it. She didn't play the Muslim idiocy, even though the Right claims she did.

It also makes one question Obama's decision making capabilities not to realize that this nut job could be a detriment in any political campaign.

BTW, I thought churches lost their tax free status if they played partisan politics from the pulpit. Discussing political issues would not count, as many are factors very important to Jesus. But saying, "I back Barack" sounds kind of partisan to me.

"For the moment, let's take Barack Obama at his word.
Let's assume he does not share Rev. Wright's proclivities, and was unaware of them until he began his campaign.
Let's assume his association with this man says nothing about Obama's character or intent.

What then does this say about Obama's intelligence, perceptiveness and ability to lead a nation?
Here is a man he has had a close association with for 20 years... his friend, his mentor and the man who baptized his children.
And Barack Obama was completely unaware that this man is a raving lunatic.

How then will he fare as president, when he will have to gauge the true nature and intentions of foreign governments, our allies and our enemies?
How can we trust this man to make the right call, if he can't even determine the true nature of a man who has been so close to him for over two decades?

Either way you look at it, Obama is either too blind and incompetent, or too disingenuous and unpatriotic to be our nation's leader.
Take your pick."
