KT,

>>Is that why so many blacks have been nominated by the Democratic Party in the past? History says you are not only wrong, but incredibly off base.<<<

It obviously takes a black man with the record and talent to compete to get enough votes to win the nomination because he is still required to get a lot of white, hispanic, asian, etc... votes. Even if he's netting an few extra % because he's black (blacks that vote for blacks vs. bigots) he can't win if his name is Jesse Jackson, though he can win some states where the black population is even higher. Bill Clinton pointed that out and was practically called a racist by the media for telling that little truth and hurt Hillary very badly when the media turned on them.

Plus, I am assuming the % of bigots has been falling steadily in the democrat party in recent decades so it's only recently that the number of bigots fell below the black advantage to net to an overall advantage.
