Very interesting. There is a lot of good in that church. The good definitely overwhelms the extreme rhetoric. I am sold.

I attend the High Country United Church of Christ in NC when there. It is concerned about social justice for all. More geared toward words like love,friendship,loyalty,peace,understanding,charity,acceptance peace .. about 50 words that are painted in varying degrees of color around the border of the walls.. This church does more good works in community with the less fortunate and shines as an example to me of the true meaning of Christianity.. It is almost impossible for me to equate the United Church that Reverend Wright represented... Oh, it is open for persons of all races, religious affiliations, sexual differences and embraces if not asks for divergence.... It is also one of the most friendly welcoming atmospheres that I have ever been in.. I would say their outreach programs pattern those mentioned in your article...
