zeta, you seem like a good natured person, so I'll try and be objective in regard to preachergate. Objectively speaking, I've read the debate thus far, considered the information and still come to the same conclusions I originally had. I sincerely cannot understand how an intelligent, thoughtful person would willingly sit in a church pew and listen that kind of anti-American message. I cannot understand how someone would willingly listen to hate speech of that sort. Especially, someone who desires to be President of the United States. It just doesn't meet the common sense test unless he believes (at least some of it), himself. You know what else I've come to see in all this mess. Look how unwilling Democrats and fellow preachers are to critically condemn statements from this preacher and his hate speech. I'm sorry, but it's similar to Imans preaching how much they hate America in Madrassa's and then saying just the opposite in English during an interview on CNN the next day.
