I was in eastern Oregon over the weekend. I had nice chat with some guys that were installing wind turbines. The farmer that is allowing these to be placed on his farmland, receives $600 per month for reach one on his property. Where they were working, they have installed 76 of them on one farmers property...76 x $600, that's a nice take per month, AND he can still farm the property! They say he has some really nice new tractors. btw, the blades on those turbines are 70' long and cost over a half mil, each. The turbines can each produce enough power to operate 350 average households for a year.
